On your side of the big pond, I have a few listed on my blog that are really worth looking at. Check out Bordeaux Undiscovered at https://bordeaux-undiscovered.blogspot.com and Peter May’s The Pinotage Club at https://pinotageclub.blogspot.com and then straight from Paris– Wine Rendezvoux at https://www.winerendezvous.com/
Merry Christmas from Victoria, British Columbia
Thanks Andrew & Wilf – some good sites there. I particularly like Catavino and wine rendez-vous.

Thanks so much for including my site in your list! That was a wonderful surprise! Thanks!
No worries, Dale, I enjoy reading and have also following on twitter
I think Tom Wark’s Fermentation is terrific. He leaves the wine reviews to those better qualified and inhabits the overlap of ‘the media, the culture’ and himself. Even when he writes about the intricacies of local (ie American) wine politics, he keeps a global head on his shoulders.
Hi Julian,
checked out ‘Fermentation’, great read. More bedtime reading for me!

thanks for the list – some new ones to me
I’d love to hear more about your views of the wine culture in Ireland and how things could be improved (other than reducing your duty). There are so few sources of information on wines in Ireland
Hi Robert,
thanks a million for the comment – food for thought, and something I’ve been thinking about writing on, in fact have a couple of drafts done one of which is nicely controversial.
In the meantime, I’ve subscribed to your blog (excellent, by the way) and added you to my ever expanding blogroll.
Take care,
Lar
excellent! another mutual appreciation society is established!!
I need to plan a trip over to Ireland in the near future so I’ll be in touch to get information on whom to visit if that works for you
The best type of society! Would be delighted to help and even meet up for a glass!
And if Cork comes into the equation, keep me posted.
