Château Roubaud 2006, Costière de Nîmes AOC

Saved in Red wine, Sour Grapes recommends, Wine, €10-€15
I picked up an unfamiliar Château Roubaud 2006 from the Costière de Nîmes AOC in Vaughan Johnson’s (Temple Bar) for about 12 lids.
I noted that it had “Vignobles de la Vallée du Rhône” on the label, so I was a expecting a bit of typical Rhône spiciness and wasn’t disappointed.
It is made from Syrah, Grenache and Carignan.
This wine was all blackcurrant, liquorice, prunes and spice. I must say, I liked it.
