I met up with Niall and Sean from iFoods.tv in Fallon & Byrne on Sunday for a bit of pre-lunch wine tasting.

First off, you’ll find it hard to meet a more hardworking nicer bunch of guys. It’s clear to me that these guys are going places. The amount of great content these guys are producing is phenomenal.

Anyhoo, we had a bit of fun tasting three wines:

  • Grüner Veltliner (Austria’s native white grape)
  • My Recession Busting wine - Côtes du Rhone Selected by Tesco (€6.49)
  • Les Pagodes de Cos, St. Estephe, Bordeaux 1996 (€46.95) - 7 times better than the Tesco wine?

Anyway, without further ado, head over to the iFoods.tv blog and watch the video

Thanks

A big shout out to David Gallagher for providing the venue, the fantastic wine cellar in Fallon & Byrne and, of course, to Niall and Sean for having me on the show and for treating me to a lovely lunch in Odessa afterwards.

Wine followed by brunch on a Sunday? I could get used to that.
