Some related posts on Laurenz V’s Grüner Veltline:
have you tried the Lois Gruner Veltliner? tremendous stuff…….we pushed it hard the weekend we ran out of The Ned sauvignon blanc and it shifted well and got a great reaction…
Haven’t tried it yet, Manuel, but if you want me to send me down a sample I’d be delighted to give it a shot.
Love the video tasting Lar.
This wine sounds fabulous, am definitely beginning to tire of the NZ Sauvignon blancs so this sounds like a move in the right direction.
Let’s hope we can find it in Munster.
Thanks Catherine. Another wine I’ll be tasting soon on sourgrapes.ie is an Albarino which is another great white.
You can certainly pick that up in a Curious wineshop near you!
Love the tasting Lar.
Gruner or later everyone will be drinking it!!
(thankfully i do better wine than humour)
We dont
If Catherine lets me know where she is i can probably point her in the right direction.
Cheers for the recommendation Lar, will definitely try that Albarino from curiouswines. Haven’t tried many Spanish whites so looking forward to it.
@Gruner Man: I’m in Bandon, County Cork so pointers to any retailers within the Cork region or online in Ireland would be great – Many thanks.
Nice — that’ll be my next wine purchase.
