Sásta 2006, Douro (by Niepoort). A Portugese wine with an Irish twist: Video Tasting

From the Wicklow Wine Company website,
The brief from Niepoort was straightforward – choose a subject that was truly Irish and make sure that the result had humour! The end result is a cartoon about St Patrick and the legend of his banishment of the snakes. Sásta has all the characteristics of a classic Niepoort wine. While the label is meant to be fun, this is a serious wine, which should provide immediate pleasant drinking, intense and full of Douro character; it is fresh, fruity and spicy with smooth tannins.
The label
The label was designed by Dublin-based illustrator Fintan Taite. Each of the different country’s labels is designed by a local artist. Isn’t this a cool piece of marketing? Why are more wineries not focusing on funky wine label designs?
