Now that I’ve finished leaping around the office in happiness, it’s time to say thank you for giving my favourite wine some personable independent exposure. I’ll send the link on to Pascal Gianesini, who runs the estate, and exploit this video shamelessly because I agree entirely with you on this one.
[...] Pascal’s wine, and review it yourself – either on our product page, on LouderVoice, or on the Sour Grapes post: here’s the link to our shop [...]
[...] Château Jouclary Cuvée Tradition was one of my favourite wines of the year from a place I hadn’t heard of until I saw a [...]
[...] Rather than propose a wine match with, well, a wine, I’ll highlight one of my favourite wines available from Bubble Brothers. I’m going to go for the Cuvée Tradition from Chateau Jouclary. At €13 it’s a fantastic find (see my video tasting from October 2008). [...]
[...] Château’s wines around Ireland (you can see Laurence at Sour Grapes trying the 05 vintage here), and the first orders for the very recently arrived 2006 Tradition are already on their way. [...]
Just found this video. I first discovered Jouclary in the late 1990′s here in the USA and fell in love with this wine. What a nose! I still have a bottle of 2000 in the cellar, waiting to see if it is still what I remember. I haven’t seen it locally in several years.
Have just opened and drank a 1998 vintage- Absolutely delicious, shame I only have one bottle!!!!
Ah well, back to the usual plonk
Well, I agree with the video reviewer-it’s a cracking wine and belies its lowly price tag. I’ll be buying it again-et beaucoup. Out of interest Itried a bottle of Cuveede Guillaume Jouclary 2006. It’s a little dearer at 20 euros, but to be honest I couldn’t really notice any improvement on the Tradition.
