Mitchell & Son are hosting a Bordeaux dinner on Thursday 21st of October in Dublin’s Town Bar & Grill.
The will begin, as most good evenings should, with an aperitif at 8.00pm.It will be followed by a 4-course dinner paired with exciting wines from the Bordeaux (six different altogether).
While it’s best known for its clarets, Bordeaux produces all styles of wine; whites, roses, dry or sweet, soft and mellow or complex and full-bodied, oaked and unoaked so this is a good chance to see what the region can offer the wine drinker (we know what classed growths can do for the investor).

Fair play to Mitchells for organizing these events!
I just wish they’d publish a list of the wines that they will be tasting at the dinner…
Hi Will,
I’ve asked them for the list, thinking that someone may ask such a question here. I’ll update once I hear back.

I went to a Mirchells dinner once – a Chateau Phelan Segur night in the now defunct Mint restauraunt. One my best meals ever and great chance to do a vertical tasting of a cracking Saint Estephe.
The 2005 wan’t out at the time (or was too young) but the 2003 was the star of the night.
