If you’re someone who shudders and thinks Blue Nun when you hear “Reisling”, then this could be the event for you. Riesling & Co. brings what will be the biggest ever German wine tasting in Ireland. Auf wiedersehen, Blue Nun. Herzlicken wilkommen, Riesling.
What, when and where?
23 winegrowers from Germany will present more than 100 wines at Riesling & Co 2009, the biggest ever German Riesling wine tasting in Ireland on Friday, 19th June.
The event will be hosted by Wines of Germany at the Westbury Hotel, Grafton Street, Dublin 2.
The tasting for wine lovers and enthusiasts will start at 4.30 pm (tickets €15) and is preceded by a ‘trade only‘ tasting at 1 pm.

I tried a couple of cracker Rieslings recently…..Woodstock Riesling and the same by Yellow Tail which was actually quite spiffing…..
