The Sunday Tribune launched their new format this weekend and tucked away in the T2 magazine, page 17 is a new wine column by yours truly. Sourgrapes.ie goes mainstream, gains credibility, poacher turns gamekeeper.
Okay, that’s all a bit much, but hopefully I’ll be there for a while.
For my first column, credit must go to where credit is due and that is to the lovely wife who gave me the word “infinitude” with which to play.
Anything you’d like to see covered in subsequent columns? Drop a comment below.
Well Done Lar
It’s great news that you’ve been recognised, T2 is always the first section I read
I hope we can expect a book for Christmas!
Give a Man the right bottle opener and he can conquer the world!

Congrats Lar and welcome to the tyranny of deadlines. e.g. I still have no clue what I’ll be writing about this week in the Herald and only a couple of days to go!
Hi Lar,
well done, hope it goes well, will probably harass you for a few mentions…
Congratulations Lar.
Well done, look forward to reading your musings over the next while.
Excellent to hear such great news in a very warm Chile. Looking fwd to checking in with you when I get back to Dublin… C
I hope my good wishes go without saying!
(I just wanted to demonstrate to any editors that I have my finger absolutely on the pulse, am king of deadlines, &c. and reassure them that I am not usually three weeks off the pace.)
Ho ho.
