Waitrose, a supermarket based in the UK, has their own-label Blanc de Blancs, priced at £18.99, which earned five stars (outstanding) in a recent tasting.
What’s interesting is that it beat some of the big guys, among them, Louis Roederer, Charles Heidsieck and Vilmart.

Over recent years it has done very well in many a tasting. I still stick to Louis Roederer though…
